TRIBES
For a better
understanding of the
history and
traditions of
American Indians,
they should, under
today’s
circumstances, be
classified in
different tribes.
This classification
must be made on a
linguistic basis
(despite the variety
of languages,
specialists support
the view that all of
them derive from ten
or twelve primitive
roots) and the
geographical
position of the
indigenous American
“nations” from the
16th
century onwards and
after the advent of
the white man. |
